    THE STARTING FRICTION

The numbers are not holding up the close. Missing people and missing evidence are.

Invoices arrive through several inboxes, receipts wait in chat, approvals live in threads, and vendor terms sit in documents. Finance spends the close finding what is missing, asking again, and checking whether the same item has already been processed.

    • 01

Invoice data is retyped before anyone knows whether the document is complete.

    • 02

The close stalls on missing receipts, approvals, and answers.

    • 03

Spend and renewal changes are discovered during review rather than when they happen.

    COWORKERS FINANCE CAN HIRE

Four recurring jobs to hand over first.

    Invoice Intake Coworker

Monitors approved finance inboxes, extracts the required fields, matches the vendor and purchase context, checks required documents and duplicate indicators, then prepares the accounting entry or exception packet for review.

    Close Coordinator

Tracks every close task, owner, dependency, evidence item, and approval. Sends configured reminders, records responses, and escalates blockers with the exact missing item and remaining time.

    Spend Watch Coworker

Compares recurring costs and approved budget fields on a schedule. Flags material changes, new vendors, unused commitments, and inconsistent classifications, with the underlying entries attached.

    Vendor Obligation Coworker

Extracts renewal dates, notice periods, pricing changes, required deliverables, and owners from approved contracts and vendor correspondence. Produces the upcoming-obligation brief before the action window closes.

    SEE ONE JOB RUN

An invoice arrives. Finance receives a checked packet, not another attachment.

    01 · Capture

The approved inbox receives an invoice and starts the coworker.

    02 · Validate

It extracts the required fields, checks vendor identity, duplicate indicators, purchase context, tax fields, supporting documents, and approval policy.

    03 · Prepare

A complete item becomes a prepared entry. An incomplete or conflicting item becomes an exception packet with the exact missing evidence and owner.

    04 · Approve

An authorized finance user reviews the entry or exception. The coworker never releases a payment merely because extraction succeeded.

    FINANCE QUESTIONS

    Direct answers about Finance.

Can Linkence approve or send payments?+

No payment should be released without the authorization boundary defined by the customer. Linkence can prepare a verified packet and, where integrated, a pending entry, but an authorized person controls the payment decision.

Does it replace the accounting system?+

No. The accounting or ERP platform remains the system of record. Linkence coordinates the unstructured work around it, including email, documents, approvals, exceptions, and evidence.

Can it read invoices and contracts?+

Yes, from approved sources and supported formats. Extraction alone is not treated as correctness. The workflow includes configured validations, evidence, exception rules, and human review.

    Where should Finance start?+

Start with invoice intake if document handling is the bottleneck. Start with the Close Coordinator if the process is delayed by missing evidence and follow-through.
